Build A Simple Flutter Application Part 1

Hello there, it’s me and I want to take you down my 100 days of coding with Flutter which started like 3 weeks ago, so I have not actually calculated how many days have actually gone, but I want to start afresh one, like saying we will be counting it down from today, and yes do not worry I will still be dropping programming tips and tricks on other languages and how you can grow with them.

So what did I build?
I was building sketching out what I wanted to build, because I already built a Form page with Flutter and a Note Keeping app with Flutter, and yeah I know the fundamentals, but I still got help from the Flutter official doc, I will suggest you go check it out on the flutter official web site or let me just drop the like here: flutter.dev/docs, yeah that’s the link go check it out if you are interested in Flutter, and yeah before you ask, I’m a mobile developer and I have been hearing of Flutter from my friends and clients, and now I was told to go learn it. You can read the reasons on my other post.

I built a Word Pair App:
What is a word pair app you ask? Well, it’s an application that has over 2000 to 5000 words and actually in a package, so you will need to get the dependency for it. What I did was to use a ListView for it. For some people that are used to XML when developing Android apps, you can relate to this. But basically, I listed all the names and added a Heart icon to each list, but it’s called a favorite icon in flutter. Now I added an action to it, which is an on pressed function which is to add any word you like and display it on another screen, so you can see the names you liked.

The screenshot of the app is below, the source code will be on my GitHub repo soon, but you can drop your email address in the comment box and we will forward the source code to you.
