The Worst Habits to have when starting Programming

Hello there it’s me again, and I promise that I was going to try and drop at least one article each day. Well, today was an awesome day for me, because I went for a Hackathon. Yeah, most of you that do not know what a Hackathon is, I’m going to take the time to write about it soon, and explain to you why you really need to go for Hackathons and Dev Fest.

So, today we are going to talk about the worst habits to have when you are just getting started in programming.

First of all, I see this problem is really common among those new people who are going into programming new. And it is also among those people who have gone a little bit abut still find it difficult to do anything.

So I’m going to make this as short as I can. The worst habit you could get as you are going into programming new is jumping around and not finishing anything. Like, what am I trying to say here? If you are going into programming new I would advise you don’t jump from one programming language to another, that’s not really healthy for you and your brain, it will burn you out easily and you end up without learning anything productive.

Like if you are going to learn JavaScript, make sure you learn it to the core and build at least 5 projects with it and make sure you built it yourself, and it was what you just taught of? Let it be something simple, so you can flow with the concept and code.

I don’t know if what I have said here will help you today, or anywhere else, but this doesn’t only apply for people who are going into programming new. It also applies to those who are already in too. Try not to jump around, if you are with React JS stay with it and be good at it, before thinking of learning another language. Thanks for reading and drop a comment if you have any questions.
